Hey! I’m Amy. I’m a lifestyle maternity, newborn and family photographer, the woman behind Hazel Louise Photography, based in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my two gorgeous girls at home, playing barbies with my 6 year old, or making reels that will never see the light of day with my 13 year old!
13 years ago when I had my first daughter Hazel, I knew I wanted to ditch my regular full time job and finally turn my photography hobby into a full time gig. So without hesitation, with that years tax return I bought my first camera and started photographing newborns, families and weddings.
Fast forward to 2024, and hundreds of shoots later, my love for capturing all the little details of the first few days of life, family love and hugs, silly faces, and those “I’m-so-in-love-with-you” moments has only grown!
Professional photos are so much more than just pretty photos for Instagram or decor to hang on the wall for me. It’s about creating family heirlooms. Photos that your children, grandchildren (and great grandchildren!) will look back on, smile and laugh about.
